Safeguarding Policy Guidance

At Hope Church Hounslow, we are committed to the safeguarding of the children, young people and adults at risk.  We aim to create an environment which is safe for all to experience and encounter Christ.  We are supported by Diocese of London and follow their guidelines. The safe recruiting process is followed for all volunteers who work with children, young adults and adults.  This may require an application to the Disclosure and Barring service or an interview and references being taken up, prior to a volunteer joining the relevant teams. Concerns about children, young people and adults at risk will be responded to according to our procedures, by either our Church Safeguarding Officers, Clergy Team and may liaise with the Diocesan Safeguarding Team.
