Hope Haven

What do we do?

We have a dedicated café called Hope Haven for those seeking refugee or asylum in the Hounslow area. This is a term time-only session that takes place on a Tuesday from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at our St Paul's Location. The session provides a friendly space to connect with others over drinks, games, and snacks; and get the necessary help.

We would love to help everyone but due to limited resources and funding restrictions, we can only support people with the following postcodes TW3, TW4 TW5, TW6 or parts of UB2 or UB3 closest to Hounslow. If you are outside the area, we would still love to welcome you, so come along for fellowship, tea/coffee, and a pastry but we are unable to give you SIM cards or snack bags!

  • We understand that language barriers can sometimes be a hurdle, but please rest assured that we have a few volunteers who are fluent in multiple languages and will be more than happy to assist you in any way they can. Each week we run an English language workshop where you can practice your conversation skills. The workshops start at 10:45 am each week so please arrive early.

  • Our church community not only offers a place for spiritual growth but also provides numerous opportunities for social connectivity and personal development. At the end of each month, we open our church kitchen to allow you to cook food from your country.

  • If there are any specific needs or concerns you would like to discuss, please feel free to reach out to our team. We will do our best to support you or refer you to the right place.

  • We are delighted to be part of Welcome Churches  (www.welcomechurches.org) which is a network of churches that support refugees and asylum seekers. As part of this partnership, along with Welcome churches we would love “ for every refugee to be welcomed by their local church”.  On your first visit to Hope Haven, we bless each person with a Welcome Box full of nice treats to warmly welcome you to our church and community. If you get transferred to a different area, we can link you to another church that supports asylum seekers and refugees.
