Foodbanks

Who We Are

The Foodbanks at Hope Church Hounslow exist to support local individuals and families who find themselves in financial difficulty by providing them with a food parcel including the basic essentials. Many individuals and families may hit financial hardship due to a number of reasons; by providing food during a time of crisis, some of that pressure can be alleviated, and a helping hand is offered.

What We Do

We work with many local partners and agencies who are able to refer their clients to our service by completing a foodbank referral form for them. The completed form entitles the client to six visits to our foodbank. Each parcel includes the basic essentials for an individual or family and will include items such as: cereal, pasta, tinned vegetables and fruit, as well as household products and toiletries if we have them available. Our foodbanks runs every Wednesday morning from 9.30 – 11.30am, at our St Paul's location and every Thursday from 11am-12.30pm at our Good Shepherd location.

How To Partner With Us

If you are a professional working in the local area and would like to signpost your clients to the foodbank, then please contact the foodbank team who will talk you through how we operate and email a referral form to you. We are keen to work in collaboration with other agencies as we seek to support those who find themselves in financial hardship, and help signpost them to further help and support if needed.

How To Receive Help

If you find yourself in need and could benefit from receiving a food parcel, please speak to someone who is involved in your situation such as a Health Visitor, Social Worker, Work Coach or Housing Officer. If this is not possible, then please call the Foodbank to find out more about how you can be referred to our services.

Get Involved

A key value of ours is that we seek to work in partnership with the local community, and that by working together, we can really make a difference to local residents. All donations come from local individuals, schools, business and churches - the foodbank would not be able to meet the high demand for food parcels without this invaluable support. Our Good Shepherd Location is open every Thursday 11am-12.30pm to receive donations.

St Paul's Location is open every Wednesday morning to receive donations (9.30-11.30am).
