Worship Intern

This internship is an exciting opportunity for a young worship leader looking to develop their heart, passion, and gifting for worship ministry. We are looking for an energetic, humble, and Christ-focused worship leader to join our team. You will be responsible for:
  • Leading and participating in the worship band at our three weekly services - Sunday morning and evening, and our Thursday mid-week service.
  • Building relationships and nurturing the rest of the worship team, particularly younger members.
  • Maintaining and updating chord charts, worship rota.
  • Looking for ways to move our worship forward, both in terms of expression and also process.
  • Depending on technical skills, assisting with Audio-Visual and other operational areas.
  • Opportunity to be involved in other areas of church ministry such as youth & schools work.
The church does not have any full-time worship staff so you will need to demonstrate high levels of autonomy and initiative. We have a volunteer worship director who can provide guidance and support, and with whom you will work closely. You will also receive support and oversight from one of the full-time staff team. Community Intern

We currently engage with 180 children and youth weekly and work with 5local schools, providing mentoring and support for students making the transition to secondary school. We would love to further develop our kids and youth work in our 2 churches and the wider Hounslow West community. In 2023we provided enough food and toiletries for almost 10,000 people at our Foodbanks. At Christmas 2023, we put together and gave away 200 bags of kindness and Christmas gifts for children under 18. Since 2021, we have been welcoming refugees and asylum seekers to Hope Haven weekly. At our weekly lunch club for Over 50's, we see 40-50 people. We have 3 weekly services each with a different flavour.
This is a one year internship, suitable for people who wish to explore whether to pursue a calling to Christian ministry or wish to gain experience of community mission.

Youth & Schools Outreach Worker

Your responsibilities will be:
To offer leadership and strategic direction for the Youth work within the Bishop’s Mission Order (BMO) and to the Youth Lead; To develop our Schools & Outreach work within identified primary and secondary schools in the BMO, including sports ministry, chaplaincy, mentoring, RSE & Transition workshops and other events.
To resource churches and youth leaders within the BMO for effective schools ministry.
To co-create and develop our provision of regular socials, weekends away and summer festivals.
To build on the vision of the Bishop’s Mission Order through monthly congregational gatherings and sports hubs when required.
